My Most Trivial Post Yet!

Wowwie, the cashier at Starbucks ACTUALLY spelled my name on the cup right when I placed my order!

Pasta Bravo < Corner Bakery

Hey all!

Happy Saturday! I'm not too active with this blog. While making one I thought I'd post more often, but I get self-conscious knowing my writing is public.

As for the entry title, it's true. Pasta Bravo is pretty mediocre. Me, the Deeter, Jessica, and her other friends Fairuz, Taylor, and brother Justin walked there only to be disappointed. Not only was the "lunch combo" second rate, but their service was of the same "ehh" quality. Getting the order mixed up, they gave me this penne with sausage when I ordered chicken Basil. I mention Corner Bakery because I was given the choice between the two. Now I know why no one goes there... And yes, this IS worth typing about...

In more relevant news,

This crazy fire be blazin' across Yorba Linda burning some rather large homes up in the hills. My prayers go out to anyone feeling the consequences. I was in Anaheim this morning, and the sky's orange-ness gave the illusion of late afternoon. Plus, I heard the giant Key Club Fall Rally was canceled due to unhealthy air. However, I'm surprised how apathetic I am to all this, especially since I used to live very close to that area. I live in a hilly area as well, and last year my family and I evacuated to the Hyatt.

Well, that's all for now.

Have a nice weekend

Shelley.

I'm actually updating!

What's up everyone. (everyone being a small, single digit amount of readers)

I haven't been posting lately, and I kind of don't want to let this blog die, so I'll try to update more frequently.

Nothing crazy going on. Enjoying my four day weekend just relaxin' with some homework time.

I went to a daily mass today with my mom and brother. Those elderly people sure are dedicated...

I read a self-help book today. You might of heard of it, it's called "Who moved my Cheese". Pretty good and universal, and short enough to take less than an hour to read. Near the end the author Spencer Johnson is pretty much advertising the book. Nevertheless, it's worth checking out.

Here's a blog I follow and have come to really, really like:
stuffkoreanmomslike.blogspot.com

Just one of those things for Korean-Americans such as myself to read and say "No way! Me too!"

and my friend Jessica made a blog that inspired to actually update mine. ^_^
